Trading cryptocurrencies via certificates have become increasingly popular. This is done by trading a certificate that represents the value of a cryptocurrency, usually to avoid the tax hassle that may occur if you buy and sell directly.
One of the first companies to produce such a certificate was the Swiss financial company Vontobel, which in 2017 began selling a certificate linked to the world’s biggest cryptocurrency bitcoin. Now, the Swiss company has just launched a new certificate, a press release reveals.
Contains five big cryptocurrencies
The new certificate is called Crypto Portfolio and is based on a basket of five of the ten most highly valued cryptocurrencies.
The cryptocurrencies behind the certificate are bitcoin, ethereum, xrp, bitcoin cash and litecoin.

Vontobel is pleased to announce its new product.
“The crypto world has changed over time and many new names have appeared on the market. Therefore, we are pleased to be able to present a new product with a variety of cryptocurrencies”, the press release states.
