The Danish Tax Agency has ordered the Danish crypto exchange Coinify to disclose the trading history from users with tax ties to Denmark. This was announced by the exchange in a message to its users on Wednesday.
The period that the Tax Agency has requested information from is between 1 January 2016 and 31 December 2018.
“We hereby inform you that your customer profile has been shared with The Danish Tax Authorities”, Coinify writes in the message.
Urges users to declare
In addition, Coinify invites all customers who have not yet declared their tax to do so.
Coinify was founded in 2014 in Denmark. In addition to its trading platform, the company also offers services to online stores and companies that want to receive cryptocurrencies as payment.
