The Kjos family is one of Norway's richest, and they invest heavily in bitcoin. Now they are planning to open their crypto exchange – as soon as next month.
Trijo News has previously reported on the Norwegian financial family Kjos and their fondness for bitcoin.
Last year, the family, who was involved in the founding of the airline Norwegian, revealed that it will release the NBX crypto exchange sometime this year.
It has now been revealed that the exchange will be launched in Norway in August. NBX will then look to launch in Norway’s neighboring countries, Dagens Næringsliv reports.
In addition, the family reiterates its promise that in the near future it will be possible to pay airline tickets with bitcoin at Norwegian.
Perhaps the greatest crypto enthusiast in the family is son Lars Ola Kjos. The 41-year-old has invested $400 000 in bitcoin, Dagens Næringsliv reports.
