One of the biggest games in the world, League of Legends, is now linked to the cryptocurrency award system Refereum.
League of Legends is one of the biggest online games in the world. It is a so-called MOBA (short for multi-online battle arena), where the players compete in destroying the base of their opponent. The game was first released in October 2009 and has over 65 million active players every month.
Now, the crypto company Refereum has connected to the League of Legends API, which was presented in a press release. This means that all LoL-players who choose to link their account to Refereum will be rewarded the Refereum cryptocurrency refereum token (rfr), which in turn could be exchanged for other cryptocurrencies or for US dollars.
The interesting thing is that you don’t have to win or even be a good player in order to earn tokens. All you have to do is to spend time in-game.
It is still uncertain exactly how much you could earn from playing, but the current price of the refereum token is about 0,002070 dollar, so we would not recommend you to quit your day job just yet.
