The total market cap for all cryptocurrencies has increased by $8 billion. Also, the World Trade Organization has released a new report showing that blockchain could add $3 trillion in value to global trade by 2030.
The crypto markets have increased in the last 24 hours. Currently, about 95 of the 100 biggest cryptocurrencies show green numbers.
The market cap for all cryptocurrencies has risen by $8 billion in the last 24 hours – from $123 billion yesterday to $131 billion today.
A new report from the World Trade Organization (WTO), shows that blockchain technology could add $3 trillion in value to global trade by 2030. However, the report mentions several issues that need to be solved first. Some of the issues raised by the World Trade Organization are scalability, security and environmental issues.
“Blockchain could make international trade smarter, but smart trade requires smart standardization – and smart standardization can only happen through cooperation. If we succeed in creating an ecosystem conducive to the wider development of blockchain, international trade could well look radically different in ten to 15 years”, according to the report from the World Trade Organization.
Looking at the biggest cryptocurrencies, most of them show green numbers. Ethereum (+7,67%), stellar (+7,62%), bitcoin (+6,91%) and xrp (+5,99%) have increased in value, while bitcoin cash (-1,13%) has lost in value over the last day.
The cryptocurrencies on top 100 that performed the best during the last 24 hours were centrality (+68,85%) and bitcoin private (+35,24%), and those who performed the worst were bitcoin sv (-27,52%) and factom (-4,48%).
