Coinbase and the bank Barclays no longer cooperate in the UK market. Instead, the crypto exchange has a new bank.

The American crypto exchange Coinbase has had some problems lately. Last month, for example, Trijo News reported that its website was down twice in less than a week.

Now comes another setback for the crypto exchange. Their collaboration in the British market with the major bank Barclays has ended, Coindesk reports.

Coinbase already has a new bank

However, Coinbase, one of the world’s biggest crypto exchanges, has quickly found a new bank in the UK. The new banking partner is called Clear Bank and is a relatively new player in the market.

According to Coindesk’s sources, Barclays ended the partnership with Coinbase and not the other way around. The reason reportedly is that Barclays feels uncomfortable with cryptocurrencies as a segment.
