Ex-Trump adviser Steve Bannon: Bitcoin will be a part of the populist revolution

A few weeks ago, US President Donald Trump attracted a lot of attention in the crypto community when he tweeted that he is not a fan of bitcoin.

Other politicians and rulers have also made negative statements about the cryptocurrency. But now a political big player is going against the current and is saying good things about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

It’s Steve Bannon, a former adviser to Donald Trump and co-founder of the right-wing populist website Breitbart News, which mentions bitcoin in positive terms.

“Bitcoin will be an important part of the future populist revolution. Cryptocurrencies have a bright future ahead of them”, he says in an interview with CNBC.

Examines opportunities for an ICO

Steve Bannon has also made positive statements about bitcoin in the past, and in June he held meetings with various crypto investors to explore the possibilities of making an ICO through his company Bannon & Company, Cointelegraph reports.
