Ethereum continues to soar on otherwise calm markets

The crypto markets have remained fairly unchanged over the last 24 hours. This is not least demonstrated on the market cap for all cryptocurrencies which has parked at around $132 billion.

Currently, around 66 of the 100 biggest cryptocurrencies show red numbers.

Ethereum goes against the stream

Looking at the biggest cryptocurrencies, it is still ethereum (+1,77%) that performs the best. In the last 24 hours, the cryptocurrency has increased by almost two percent. It is also the only one that shows green numbers.

Those that have lost the most among the biggest currencies are bitcoin cash (-2,67%), eos (-2,17%) and xrp (-1,15%).

Bitcoin still under $4,000

Bitcoin (-0,78%) is currently trading at around $3,860, which is around $40 higher than yesterday.

The cryptocurrencies on top 100 that performed the best during the last 24 hours were repo (+47,27%) and ark (+19,67%), and the ones that performed the worst were aurora (-7,83%) and kucoin shares (-6,87%).
