The crypto markets continue to rise in mid-February. At present, around 90 of the 100 biggest cryptocurrencies show green numbers.
The market cap of all cryptocurrencies has also increased over the last 24 hours – from $126 billion yesterday to $134 billion today.
That is a rise of $8 billion.
Eos rallies
Of the biggest cryptocurrencies, eos (+22,85%) has by far increased the most in the last 24 hours. In fact, the cryptocurrency has increased the most of all the cryptocurrencies on top 100. At the time of writing, eos is trading at $3,62, which is $0,68 higher than yesterday.
But also the price of xrp (+9,64%), litecoin (+8,40%), ethereum (+7,73%) and bitcoin (+5,09%) have increased many percents over the last 24 hours.
Bitcoin is approaching $4,000
Bitcoin is currently trading at around $3,941, which is about $200 higher than yesterday. Many now speculate that the cryptocurrency will test the $4,000 level.
“Over the past few weeks, the $3,700 level has been a strong resistance that the price has not managed to overcome. Should we see an outbreak over the resistance, bitcoin will most likely test levels around $4,000”, Dennis Sahlström, technical analyst, for example, wrote on Trijo News yesterday.
The cryptocurrencies, except eos, on top 100 that performed the best during the last 24 hours were mixin (+17,37%) and iost (+14,89%), and the ones that performed the worst were wax (-15,93%) and ark (-6,46%).
