People in Chile can now buy products and services with cryptocurrencies from more than 5,000 different merchants, and there have been no major changes among the largest cryptocurrencies in the last 24 hours.
An agent at the American DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) has admitted that bitcoin’s use for illegal activities has dropped from 90 percent to around 10 percent, Bitcoin News reports.
Now the people in Chile can buy products and services with cryptocurrencies from over 5,000 different merchants, according to the Chilean cryptocurrency exchange MKT. This is possible thanks to a new integration with a crypto payment processor, CCN writes.
There have been no major changes in the biggest cryptocurrencies in the last 24 hours. Both xrp (-2,55%) and eos (-2,19%) have lost a couple of percents, and the largest cryptocurrency bitcoin (+0,63%) has gone up in value and is now trading at over $6,300.
The cryptocurrencies on top 100 that have performed the best were chainlink (+15,29%) and dentacoin (+9,04%), and the ones that performed the worst were odem (-5,71%) och vechain (-5,55%), according to Coinmarketcap.
