The crypto markets have increased in value over the last 24 hours. At present, almost 90 of the 100 biggest cryptocurrencies show green numbers.
The total market cap for all cryptocurrencies has risen by $6 billion over the last day – from $214 billion yesterday to $220 billion today.
Bitcoin cash continues surging
If we look at the biggest cryptocurrencies, all show increases in price. Bitcoin cash (+10,52%) and ethereum (+4,66%) have increased the most, but also bitcoin (+1,66%), xrp (+3,10%) and eos (+3,92%) have increased in value over the last day.
The world’s fourth-biggest cryptocurrency bitcoin cash (+10,52%) continues surging in price. Several people speculate that the surge for bitcoin cash is due to a coming so-called “hard fork” which is supposed to be an upgrade for the network. The upgrade will be supported by large crypto exchanges such as Coinbase and Binance, which could be interpreted positively. Bitcoin cash is currently trading at around $616.
The cryptocurrencies on top 100 that performed the best during the last 24 hours were mixin (+11,52%) and bitcoin cash (+10,52%), and those who performed the worst were reddcoin (-3,39%) and funfair (-2,74%).
