The crypto markets have seen red numbers in the last 24 hours. At present, about 65 of the 100 biggest cryptocurrencies show red numbers.
The total market cap for all cryptocurrencies has dropped $600 million over the last 24 hours – from $212.8 billion yesterday to $212.2 billion today.
The American crypto billionaire Tim Draper stands by his prediction that one bitcoin will cost $250,000 in the year 2022.
“Believe it, it’s going to happen – they’re going to think you’re crazy but believe it, it’s happening, it’s going to be awesome”, said Tim Draper about his prediction in a panel at the Web Summit Conference.
Bitcoin cash loses the most
Looking at the biggest cryptocurrencies, most of them have lost in value over the last 24 hours. Bitcoin (-0,65%), ethereum (-1,18%), xrp (-1,74%) and bitcoin cash (-4,38%) have lost in value, while stellar (+2,62%) have gained value over the last day.
At the time of writing the worlds biggest cryptocurrency bitcoin is traded at $6,375.
The cryptocurrencies on top 100 that performed the best during the last 24 hours were wax (+11,01%) and moac (+8,25%), and those who performed the worst were revain (-11,64%) and eternal token (-8,43%).
