The crypto markets have lost value over the last 24 hours. At the time of writing, 80 of the 100 biggest cryptocurrencies show red numbers.
The total market cap for all cryptocurrencies has lost around $2 billion during the last day – from $214 billion yesterday to $212 billion today.
Bitcoin cash loses the most
Looking at the biggest cryptocurrencies, all of them have lost in value over the last 24 hours. Bitcoin cash (-7,12% ) and eos (-1,82%) have lost the most, but also bitcoin (-0,14%), ethereum (-0,06%) and xrp (-0,18%) have all lost in value over the last day.
The fourth biggest currency bitcoin cash (-7,12%) falls to $542, from trading at around $640 earlier this week. Some speculate that the decline is due to the fact that some people in the bitcoin cash community disagree about the upcoming network upgrade for the cryptocurrency.
The cryptocurrencies on top 100 that performed the best during the last 24 hours were chainlink (+6,33%) and eternal token (+5,63%), and those who performed the worst were nexo (-12,78%) and basic attention token (-9,00%).
