Like most of bitcoin’s competitors, ethereum has been losing ground lately.
Ethereum is still the world’s second-biggest cryptocurrency. But the price of the cryptocurrency, which at the time of writing is $212, is far from its heydays.
Ethereum’s highest listing came in January 2018. At that time, the cryptocurrency was trading at $1,400, according to numbers from Coinmarketcap.
But that doesn’t mean hope is lost for ethereum, at least not if you ask the crypto personality and writer Nik Patel’s Twitter followers.
54 percent believe in a comeback
Nik Patel posted a poll asking if the ethereum price will reach over $1,000. 54 percent answered yes, and only 34 percent no.
Twelve percent of the more than 5,400 respondents chose the “results” option, and thus chose not to participate in the survey.
