Crypto markets lose $10 billion – ethereum declines 12 percent.

Bitcoin is currently trading at $3,825, which is around $230 lower than yesterday.

On Thursday, the crypto markets fell considerably. At the moment, around 90 of the 100 biggest cryptocurrencies show red numbers in the last 24 hours.

The market cap for all cryptocurrencies has also declined over the last 24 hours – from $137 billion yesterday to $127 billion today.

That is a $10 billion decline.

Ethereum declines 12 percent

Looking at the biggest cryptocurrencies, bitcoin cash (-15,43%) and ethereum (-11,98%) are the ones that have lost the most during the last 24 hours.

Ethereum fell sharply on Thursday and is trading at just over $130 at the time of writing. The decline also led to ethereum and xrp (-6,53%) once again being at about the same market cap, thus also fighting to be the world’s second-biggest cryptocurrency.

Also eos (-8,83%) and bitcoin (-5,73%) have declined several percent over the last 24 hours. Bitcoin is currently trading at $3,825, which is around $230 lower than yesterday.

The cryptocurrencies on top 100 that performed the best during the last 24 hours were status (+6,30%) and maximine coin (+3,91%), and the ones that performed the worst were holo (-20,68%) and pundi x (-17,68%).
