Investment guru and bitcoin skeptic Warren Buffett will now have lunch with a crypto enthusiast. The purpose is to raise money for charity.

It’s Justin Sun, the entrepreneur behind the cryptocurrency and technical platform Tron, who now pays $4.57 million to have lunch with investment guru Warren Buffett. The money will go to charity, CNN reports.

Warren Buffett has previously been very critical towards cryptocurrencies and, on one occasion, even called bitcoin “rat poison squared”.

Will try to convince Buffett

In an open letter, Justin Sun writes that “even one of the most successful investors of all times can sometimes miss a coming wave” in regards to the fact that Buffett, among other things, has failed to realize the potential of tech companies such as Amazon and Alphabet.

Justin Young also believes he can persuade Buffett to change his mind about cryptocurrencies.

It is the 20th year that Warren Buffett offers people to bid for a lunch with him in order to raise money for charity.

“We are going to have a good time and Glide (the charity) will use his contribution to help many thousands of people”, Warren Buffett says to CNN.
