Now we may have a new clue about where the bitcoin price will end the year. The crypto personality Trace Mayer recently revealed that his prize calculation tool, the Mayer Multiple, shows that bitcoin may end up at $21,000 when we enter 2020.
Some expect even higher prices
The Mayer Multiple calculates bitcoin’s future price by dividing the current price by the average price for the last 200 days, and according to Cointelegraph, it is a key indicator of how the price of the cryptocurrency will develop.
Although some other analysts believe that bitcoin will trade even higher at the end of the year, Mayer’s figure is still above the record from December 2017, Cointelegraph reports.
