The American crypto exchange Coinbase has released a new feature that allows the user to get push notifications when any of the cryptocurrencies traded on the exchange undergo major price changes.
“Customers asked for real-time price alerts natively in the Coinbase app to address the inconvenience of having to check multiple sources for crypto market information”, a representative of the company tells Coindesk.
Which cryptocurrencies are displayed is optional
The notifications will display information about how many percents up or down a cryptocurrency is, how long the rise or fall has been going on, and when it started. In addition, users will be able to choose which cryptocurrencies they want notifications for.
The function is opt-in, so users themselves have to make the active choice to turn the service on, Coindesk reports.
