The world's biggest cryptocurrency bitcoin soared from $4,190 to $ 4,849 – an increase of 15.7 percent in just one hour.
The crypto markets soared well during Tuesday morning (CEST). Currently, about 90 of the 100 biggest cryptocurrencies show green numbers.
In just one hour, the market cap of all cryptocurrencies increased sharply – from $147 billion to nearly $164 billion.
That is an increase of none the less than $17 billion.
The world’s biggest cryptocurrency bitcoin soared from $4,190 to $ 4,849 – an increase of 15.7 percent in just one hour, according to numbers from Coinmarketcap.
Bitcoin also broke through previous important resistance levels at $4,200, $4,420 and $4,567. This also meant that the cryptocurrency reached its highest level in four months, according to Coindesk.
After the rally, the bitcoin price dropped slightly.
Also, the other big cryptocurrencies rose sharply in price during the morning. Litecoin (+9,90%), eos (+8,78%), xrp (+5,67%) and ethereum (+5,52%) all show green numbers in the last 24 hours.
The cryptocurrencies on top 100 that performed the best during the last 24 hours were repo (+39,77%) and abbc coin (+25,39%), and the ones that performed the worst were tezos (-6,22%) and project pai (-2,11%).
