There have been declines in the crypto markets over the last 24 hours. Bitcoin is currently trading below $9,500.
On Saturday, the price of the world’s biggest cryptocurrency fell from $10,235 to $9,299, according to numbers from Bitstamp.
That is a decline of over nine percent.
Total market cap drops
Over the past week, the total market cap of bitcoin has dropped from $188 billion to $170 billion – a decrease of $18 billion.
Bitcoin currently represents 64.5 percent of the total market cap of all cryptocurrencies, according to Coinmarketcap.
