The Norwegian police are now asking the public for any information regarding the search for missing billionaire wife Anne-Elisabeth Falkevik Hagen. In addition, they recommended the family not to pay the ransom that is requested in the cryptocurrency monero.

ANNONS

Since the end of October last year, Anne-Elisabeth Falkevik Hagen, wife of Norwegian billionaire Tom Hagen, has been missing. It is suspected that she has been kidnapped, and someone claiming to be the kidnapper has in a letter demanded that a ransom of nine million euros (approximately $10.3 million) is to be paid in the cryptocurrency monero.

The police are now asking the public for any information regarding the search for Anne-Elisabeth Falkevik Hagen. The police have also recommended the family not to pay the ransom that was requested in exchange for the promise that she would be released.

“So far, the police have advised the family not to agree to the demands. The motive is suspected to be financial”, says police inspector Tommy Bøsko during a press briefing.
