The numbers on the crypto market are green and Coinbase has announced several new things. Here are the most important news from the world of crypto.
It has been most green figures in the crypto market during the last 24 hours. Bitcoin (+6,14%), Ethereum (+5,74%), Ripple (+4,95%) and Bitcoin Cash (+7,00%) have all made a big climb.
Among the biggest winners we find IOStoken (+31,40%), Elastos (+25,05%) and Ontology (24,27%), while the ones that have diped was Kin (-2,60%) och DigixDAO (-2,13%).
Coinbase has made several announcements. The crypto exchange said that they in the coming month will make it possible for people to withdraw assets from Bitcoin forks. Coinbase also announced that the company will be launching a fund to finance new companies in the crypto space.
However, perhaps the biggest news from Coinbase is that the company has met with U.S. regulators about registering as a licensed brokerage company and electronic-trading venue.
In Europe, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in England has warned crypto companies that it may be a criminal offense not to have the right authorization.
